Hello my name is Shafiki and I live in the beautiful country named Egypt. The hot golden sandy desert is gorgeous glistening in the midday sun. The heat is immense! When you get really hot you sweat and dehydrate which causes you to see mirages. A mirage is illusions when you see thins that aren’t there. Camels, Scorpions and snakes are all amazing creatures that live in the desert. Pyramids are situated in deserts they attract many people to our country. Pyramids are made up of limestone rocks and inside them contain ancient bodies which have been mummified.
The River Nile runs through my country (Egypt). It is one of the most well known rivers in the world. Daily I collect water from the River Nile for my children and animals back home. The water isn’t very clean and it makes my children ill but it I don’t collect it we would not be able to survive.
