Laughing Predator
The hyenas laughing hysterically,
At the gazelles that jump like ballerinas through the tall grass,
Their heads emerging every few seconds is their entertainment for the day.
Even whilst hunting they have to contain their giggles,
Creeping slowly, they are the vultures of the night.
Red and orange are painted on the land
The giant fireball, retreating like a snail into the continuous sand dunes.
The jesters run alongside the powerful lions,
Drinking animals scatter like marbles on a concrete floor,
Leaving the mocking calls of the hyenas behind them.
